Default could a polaris 700 stay toe to toe with a sport bike?

A guy at work claims his will keep up with a sport bike, cant remember which one. He does have a hotseat mod, which backfires like all beat up.

Then again, he also said his 500 would do 65, I couldnt, and didnt want to take it over 46. The front end wobbled and moved like heck.

the 500 can make it to 60..takes a long run to get there...but no I dont think the 700 would be able to keep up

Well the twin peaks and the prairie 700 are exactly the same machine, and they are both faster in a drag than the polaris 700efi, so there is your shootout right there.

What does the 700 weigh? Close to 700 lbs.? Vs a 350 lb. sport bike? That's a 350 lb. weight penalty!!!

I was within 1 quad length when I raced a piped and filtered warrior with paddles up a sand hill on my stock Prairie 700. We raced 3 times with the same result. Its possible, just not without a few mods and only against mid range sport atvs.
