See the August issue of ATV Action, pg. 62. There is a before and after dyno. Below about 5,500 rpm there is little difference with or without the kit. Above that, THE DIFFERENCT IS DRAMATIC........43.8 hp @ 8,500 rpm, vs the stock max of 33.1 hp @ 7,250 rpm. That is over 10 hp, and with the stock pipe! I would expect even more with an aftermarket pipe. Sadly, they do not include the torque curve.
So, all the gain is at the mid to high end.

for the money this kit is the best thing out there. unless you plan to buy an after market exhaust you will not see much improvement in the low end . to counter this just run a 13 tooth sprocket and there you go. keep in mind that if you plan on running exhaust ,then save your money and dont bother with the kit. the only stuff im still running out of the kit are the cam, vents and neddle.worth 300 bucks? ,no.you can play with the numbers a bit but they're pretty close . dont do what i did ,i bought the kit ,jet kit , filter ,full exhaust =$840 i could have saved about $300 if id got the after market cam to begin with and the exhaust came with jets. you can get the neddle at honda.
kit w/o exhaust $ 200-300
kit w/ slip on $400-500
kit w/ full exhaust $600-?
after market cam $125
jet kit $45
filter $45
slip on $200-?
full exhaust $400-? some exhaust 's come w/jetting
