modified 300ex beat stock 400ex? (weight)
#1
okay ive read on here before about people saying that a modified 300ex would beat a stock 400ex because it is 'so' much lighter...well i read in a recent magazine buyers guide that the 300ex in fact weighs 2 more pounds than a 400ex...so whats the dealieyo?

just people being people i guess. i think a very heavily modded 300ex would beat a 400ex. it would take a lot of money though. better of just buying a 400ex to start with. but, that leads you in a big loop. a raptor is faster than a 400ex, so why not buy that then? are you trying to decide what to buy, or are you just wondering?

I have a 2002 300EX and it is heavier than a 400 the 400 is 375 and the 300 is 377. I would have got the 400ex if it had reverse but a bike without reverse would be a pain in the trails which is where I do most of my riding!
