today i just got back from looking at a 1999 yamaha warrior
the person wanted 1800$
it had the following assc.
white bros e-series
2 sets of wheels and tires- holeshots, on itp rims, and the stockers
graphics kit
skidplates
works rezzi rear shock with shock wares all around
extra a-arms , and shocks included
it also had the following wrong with it
some rust on chain, sprocket, and swing arm, as well as foot pegs, and frame
bad solonoid-couldnt start due to that and dead battery
couldnt roll it due to it needing a frount ball joint, and wheel was off-included new arms
i told them i'd think about it, for 1800 should i pass it by, or mabey take another look, imho i dont think it was worth 1800, without hearing it run it is worth 700-800 to me.
what do you all think sorry i didnt get pics of it.

i like yamaha and all but warriors are really out dated quads.just about the only thing they are good at is slow trails.i know this from expierence. i say get a 400ex but if you want reverse get even a 300 ex.a 300 with the same mods as a warrior will only lose on topend.but handeling, jumping, etc will be better.

Unless it's a project quad, if you can't hear it run, run away! For $1800 you should be able to purchase a decent warrior that is ready to run.
I would pass. Or, offer him $1000 and spend the remaining $$$ and fix it up.
