i just installed at gyt-r adapter and k&n filter. the stock lid does not fit and the instructions don't say to trim anything, so before i screw it up i thought i would ask. do i just need to cut off the two long pieces on the lid that held down the stock filter?
also, i have to run with the lid on, so what mods can be done to the lid and/or snorkle to get more air in?
