The arctic cat rear bumper is one I bought and I agree,I don't like the front one from a/c.I saw the one I'm getting yesterday,I think it was from motovan,I forget, but it looks good and not over-kill like the one from a/c.

The arctic cat front brush guard may look like overkill (and to each there own) but I will personaly tesify to its durability. It saved me hundreds if not thousands of dollars. Due to reasons beyond my control (at least I like to think so) I hit a tree very, very hard. And to make it worse it was off to one side of the quad and the front wheel was turned as such that it could have damaged things very bad.
The front brush gaurd took all of the impact, saving my factory front bumper, headlight all of the front plastics and a lot of front end, wheel and stearing damage. It did bend back the brush guard and twist one side of the front rack (it is attached to the front rack on the top). However we even got that bent back out and looking good.
In a nut shell, if you are looking for a functional and durable front brush guard the AC guard is the one to get. If you are looking for a good looking brush guard to impress the other guys then maybe I'd look elsewhere.

I don't think one has to sacrifice form for function. The Polaris Brush guards are very stylish along with offering great protection. I am trying to find something like those made for the Polaris machines.

I think your right one does not have to, however many times we do it seams.
I looked at a bunch of them and there are some nice looking ones out there. Price wise they are all pretty close. There are also a couple of bad ones that I think I could have welded up. Either way my dealer made me a great deal on mine and I have not been dissapointed.
