im thinking of gettin a twist throttle for my raptor.. any ideas on wich is better?

 

ive heard from ppl that on a twist throttle when you go to grab the front brake you tend to hit the gas! dont know if it true just that y my friend took off his twist throttle.

A drag blaster that I ride has a twist throttle and I almost kill myself every time i get on it. If the front end comes up unnexpectantly its hard to get out of the throttle, and sometimes when I hit the throttle the powerband kicks in and I and pushed back and can't get out of the throttle. That thing scares me more than anything I've ever ridden.

Thumb all the way.

 

Twist!!! I got one on my Warrior. I love it. It just takes some time getting used to. Ok, alot of time getting used to. For a raptor tho, that may be suicide. All that torque+easy throttle=hmmm. And when the directions say torque the bolts, they mean it. I just tightened mine and it stuck on while I was riding.

I have a twist on my banshee and a thumb on my scrambler.... I prefer the thumb in the trails and the twist out on the dunes.

 

twist on a banshee for sure you have to hold on when the power band kicks in but for the raptor i like thumb since its a smoother powerband
