Default Scrambler4x4 in tight trail

I rhode my dads 500 sportsman last week with a bunch of 300ex's. I kept up with them fine on the straight aways but as soon as we got in the woods they were gone. I had such a hard time turning this thing and even when it did turn it was to wide i was forever backing up and doin like three point turns. I want a 500 scrambler but i dont want the huge a@@ turn radiaus of the sportsman. Does the scrambler 4x4 handle better, and if so why does the polaris site mark the sportsmans turn radius at 80 and the scram at 82. I like the 4x4 option but i dont want to ride a tank. I have a recon and its much better in tight trails and even good in mud but i need more power.

Well, the little hondas are more nimble, but the lighter weight of the scram makes it handle a lot better than the SP in the tight trails. Plus the smaller tires come into play as well

i gotta tell ya,,, i love getting my 500 scrambler into the tight woods trails..... racing my buddies. it trails just as good as any trail blazer 400 2x4. by buddy on his 400ex cant escape me. my scrambler will go anywhere and fast.

with the bear claws in 2WD, its really fun riding trails.... a quick blip of the throttle, and you can whip it around tight corners... kick it into 4x4 and its like a dream!!!! just keep in mind it is alotta machine to be tossing around the trails but then again you knew that already with the sporstsman. the scrambler 500 is a whole different animal compared to the sportsman 500.

i have said it before and ill say it again,,,, the scramlbler is the ULTIMATE atv.

If you want to have the 4x4 option,,,,the scrambler is the sportiest of the bunch.

and you can throw it in 2wd if you like.

I love riding our scrambler on tight trails,,,,,it goes anywhere you want it to......

IDLE, you wont have ANY problems with the scrambler on tight trails. IMO, the Scrambler is one of the best trail quads out there.

There is, kinda. The cost of it wouldn't really be worth the effort. You can use a Harley transmission (you would lose the 4wd) and you would have to do a lot of custom fabrication. Like I said, possible, but not probable

After you ride a auto for a week, I doubt if you would want to go back. I know I don't
