Default Wet drive belt

Have a 500 Scrambler that is ridden mostly trail and creek. I some times hit the water too fast and seem to flood the drive belt. I know it has an air intake just below the gas tank that I think is to cool the belt. If I hit the water slow, it is fine. Any suggestions on this? I just don't want to have to slow down everytime I cross the creeks.

Thanks in advance.

yeah,,,,they all have that problem

you have to divert that snorkel somehow,,,,with out loosing the ram-air flow to cool the cvt. I believe some people have done some custom mods to correct thin. do a search

I just told Julie to 'SLOW DOWN' !!! The scrammy is hers.

be sure that the rubber boot that seals the cover/snorkel connection is sealed well (i use safety wire instead of zip-ties).

MnFriesen, Bing Thanks. I have only had it since August last year, and love it. My parents wouldn't let me have one when I was smaller, but when I turned 16 they let me get a 3 wheeler.... 3 tires vs. 4 tires? Who knows. Went several years without after that, now I am back just can't SLOW DOWN!

Later.

I found that most of the water was coming in where the exhast boot and case come together. Use #44 hose clamps and problem solved.

I'll propose a trade. If he wants Modquad, I'll take the Jetblast.
