Finally getting a BANSHEE
#1
i have been looking around for a banshee for quite a while now. I finally found one that is close to home, it has fmf pipes on it, jetted carbs and a set of dg nerfs. I went to go look at it yesterday the guy was real nice let me start it up, I checked and made sure the axle and swingarm bearings were good the a-arm bushings are good. The thing is practically mint, the paint on the a-arms and under the frame isnt even worn off. The guy says that there is only about 15 hours on it and i believe him by the great shape that it is in. Is there anything else I should look for before i hand over the green. Also i want to upgrade the suspension first and then work on the motor or are there other things i should do first. Thanks alot.

Congratulations!!!! Their are a LOT of aftermarket parts made for the Banshee ( more than any other quad )...... All it takes is $$$$$$....... The sky's the limit or maybe your wallet.... Anyway sounds like your summer is about to get alot better! Have fun....

Thats cool that its in good shape but just think about this, b4 you hand over the cash. look at my pics page, I got that 2001 banshee in there for $2300. it came with alot more aftermarket parts then that banshee and came with full ridin gear (HJC helmet included). if you have that kind of money go for it. but if cash is tight your gonna be able to buy a 2001 banshee for way cheaper then 4g. yours sounds like its in great shape. If it only has 15 hours on it then that means its still in the break-in stage(20 hours correct me if i'm wrong). i dunno if you should believe that there is only 15 hours on a 4 year old bike. If you got the green buy it!
