I just recently totalled my 03 predator and was in the market for a new quad. I do mostly trail riding but I love to jump on the mx track and rip-it-up often. The main question I have is if the YFZ $ wise is actually worth it for the performance? It will cost me about $1000 more for the quad, plus I'll have to put new skid plates on it for the rough trails. The predator is pretty much set-up for the trails but lacks on mx capabilities; but is supposed to have reverse in the 05 model which is another added bonus. Please give me any input or experience you might have on this matter. Thanks

 

If the Predator has reverse it would be my preferance by far on the trail. If your not going to race MX on a regular bases I would probably go with that. The YFZ is really made for the track and rides too rough for comfortable all day riding. Although I'm sure alot of guys do it anyway.
