Just installed a White Bros. E-series slip-on silencer on my Z400, wow did
this thing wake up!
Now, my question is what jets to use. I purchased the QuadWorks stage 1 power
kit with a Dynojet kit and the K&N filter.
White Bros. sent a 165 main jet with the pipe. It says to use that if removing
the airbox lid. To me, 165 seems big.
Just curious as to what the best main jet would be, where to set the airscrew, etc...

Any help appreciated.

 

Cool, yeah your going to want to put that 165 jet when you pull the airbox, if you dont pull that airbox off with that big jet in than its going to bog down. Your going to feel alot of power with that airbox off. Thats a nice exhaust is it real quite.

The pipe isnt quiet, it just has a nice sound.

For the best sound, make sure you put all 12 discs in! If you run it with only six, then it is close to stock.

I run a 165 jet with no airbox lid and have had 0 problems at all. Runs perfect.

I see you have the full exhaust, will that make a difference on which jet I use?
Also, where do you have your airscrew set?
I do plan on putting the other 6 discs in.
How much louder is it?
