you need a puller. There is a clutch puller for them will have to get one from polaris. DO not hit it or anything you can brake it. Remeber to that the x on the cover plate an has an X on it must be lined up with the one on the rest of the clutch .

are you talking the clutch on the motor the primery or the one on the trans if it on the trans I have heard of them being hard to get off sometime mine have never been hard to get off. If it is the clutch on the motor you need an puller

once the middle bolt is out you need a puller
you can make one using a trailer ball and a ratched extension. get a 3/4 inch shaft trailer ball, but the extension inside the tube that the clutch is on, then screw the trailer ball in, that will push the extension and pop the clutch off. it will take some effort.
the flywheel is on the other side behind the recoil starter, you need a puller for that too, you can borrow one at autozone for 15 or so. mine is being race lightened by rick as we speak.

Use the pullers like the others stated. Once either clutches, or your flywheel are off, remember to put a very thin film of anti-sieze on the shafts to make taking them off easier next time....a very thin film.

Im a little confused here. You say you are removing the driven clutch to get the tranny out. Well, that is held on with just the 1 bolt and needs no puller. If you are trying to get the tranny off, then why are you removing the drive clutch?????????

bbs ur confusing me more!!! i no the tittle is wrong but who cares!! im taking that whole setup out so i have a big open area to get the tranny out and loosen the bolts first then wit the tranny out i can remove the oil pump all that too put an 8 dollar piece of metal on
