can you help me with my sparkplug? i have some pictures of it

i dont know if i am running lean or rich
the bottom of it is black and crispy(unburnt gas and oil?). what the spark jumps to is a brown color
i have to upload the pictures through my galery page so it may take a while

this is on my 1986 tomos moped
im getting a Bullet full system exhaust and 27t front sprocket along with a #58 jet
would this help it?
how do i fix the rich problem?
i dont know where the fuel/ air screws are. are they in the carb or outside?

actually the first time i got that photo was at school. i wasnt trying to find anything like that but i was browsing through photos on bikepics.com and it came up under kfx400.

is it like that constantly or is that like one of the only times uve noticed it. it looks to me like u fouled out the plug. just put a new one in and u probably shouldnt have a problem.

its like that constantly. i noticed sometimes it loses power when im accelerating or when im just cruising. i just decided to check my plug because of this and its what i found. i didnt think it was normal. do fouled plugs still work beacause this one does.

if your running rich, your jets are too big. now it could be the mainjet, needle clip, pilot jet, fuel and/or air screw, ect. you need to determine at which throttle position it is running rich and adjust accordingly.
