They new DS quads everyday but the skin is hard to replace.

 

I hate accidents, get well soon! I hope the DS isn't to messed up [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img] I think it could have been a lot worse.

 

ya, i got really lucky, if i wouldn't have braked i woulda been infront of the truck and prolly not here 2day, most ppl are surprised i made out this good,lesson here guys, take ur time, pay close attention 2 ur drivn, n don't rush

 

since when are stop signs and trucks on the trails?

sorry to hear of the accident, glad it wasn't worse, good luck healing and fixing the bike.

 

Sounds like you actually got off lucky. If the truck had hit you you could have had a lengthy hospital stay or worse. My friend's son did a head on quad vs car a couple years back and has it took alot of pins to put him back together. These guy are right, the quad should be the least of your worries.

Sounds like you did a lot better than being in FRONT of the truck...

 

thanx for all the support guys, an i know i could have been alot worse, i thank god that my gardian angels carry me over that truck, and i only have minor injuries compared to wat you'd have thought i would have, i should be able to walk fine again in about week n half, i'm gettin a cast next week(gotta wait til the swelling goes down on my hand, til then its in a brace),
i'm not 2 worried about the ds, an appraiser(sp?) is suppose 2 come out soon and see if they think if it should b fixed or written off, most likely option 2, i'll keep you guys updated
and here its legal 2 ride on the gravel roads aslong as you have licence,ownership and insurance, where i had the accident it was at an intersection with a paved road
