yamaha grizzly or suzuki vinson
#2
I actually own both, and here is my take: for fast trail riding, buy the Vinson; for mudding, buy the Grizzly. I have noticed the Vinson's solid rear axle gets hung up very quickly in the sticky stuff ( my Rancher will get through deeper mud ). On the other hand, it handles like a sport machine on fast trails. The Grizzly's IRS is great in the mud, but the stock tires are awful on trails. They roll over way too easily. If you like the mud, and want to go reasonably fast on trails, buy the Grizzly and immediately install a set of Holeshot ATR radials on ITP C-series wheels. The tires are a great compromise between trail and mud, and the C-series will widen the wheelbase by almost 3 inches.
