So i was doing my usual prerace oil change, and at first sight everything looked good. The motor drain plug appeared to be shavings free, so i was happy. Just for fun i sprayed some brake cleaner towards the magnet on the plug, and gold colored flakes kinda blew out. Now i don't recall getting the gold flake edition DS. So what are these? I heard that i may be main bearing, correct? If so, how long does this motor have? Thanks in advance for any advice.
