Default Dies out when feathering throttle

Ok, say i'm standing still, pop it into gear, then feather it to start moving, the thing will usually die out on me.

Now, if i jam it a little harder, it will be fine..

The machine pulls hard, runs good everywhere.....

IF it dies, starts back up like nothing happened..

Someone help me out, its not a big problem but could it lead to something else??

Sean

LOL Thrash

How does the bike idle???? there is a little extra pressure put on the engine when it is in gear but, make sure your carb is nice and clean....... I had a similar issue and i sprayed some Gunk Carb cleaner in it and it was good after that.

Check the carb, sounds like the jet is clogged, put some new ones in! At the very least rebuilt the carb. EH

You pilot circut is to rich, if it was lean then it would never idle, and would rev up. When the pilot is rich it will stumble and die out how you explained. Matter of fact, I had the same problem this morning. By the way, once you lean your pilot circut out some you will have to re-adjust your idle and air screw. Good luck.

Well, it doesnt do this everytime i feather it...its like, 1 in 10 lets say...i dunno its werid...idols great, runs great, jus bogs out, and if i let the throttle off, it comes back alive, but it doesnt do it that often....clogged jet maybe??...but if it is rich, why doesnt it do this everytime
