Need Help with Eton
#1
We are shopping for an ATV for our son and have looked at Eton,Yamaha,& Honda
Really liked the Eton but was informed that they are not reliable nor can you find parts for them if
something does go wrong. We are looking at the Eton 90R. Can someone give us some advice?

who stated the eton was not reliable...one of the other dealers? I just bought the 90R and I'm impressed. I don't know if you have any E-ton dealers in your area, but with the internet...how can parts be a problem? E-ton is not a new manufacturer, they have been around for a while.

I have a 2002 eton thunder we bought new. In the 2 yrs my son has tortured the poor thing it has NEVER let him down mud , water , on the moto track it just runs. I have only ever put a set of rings in it last year. It is just getting ready for a rebore and have never had a problem getting parts

my son has a 99 eton that he just trail rode for a couple of years and now has raced it for a year and a half. very reliable little quad and you can get any part you want for them, stock or high performance. bet it was the the honda or yamaha dealer that told you the eton was unreliable.

Our 90 has been very reliable and parts aren't hard to get. When we were shopping around we had a couple dealers tell us to stay away from the Taiwan junk! Meanwhile the bikes they were selling were made there too.

Just got a 90R for my kid too. I like it alot. My son is a beginner, so I ordered the optional remote kill switch... returned it for a refund. The one that was sent with the bike never worked, and the second one they sent worked intermittently, which made it more of a safety hazard than a safety feature. At one point, I had the bike sitting in the garage, running, in gear, and the remote unit just decided to kill the motor. This could be disasterous if it happened at the wrong time, especially for a novice rider. I have since learned that the bike is equipped with an adjustable cdi (rev limiter). I put mine on the lowest setting and it's perfect for my kid.
