Default plastic cutting suggestions

Ok tomorrow im going to cut the fenders on my scrambler down and get ready for all the new stuff i have coming so i would like every one to give me there suggestions on how to go about doing this and doing a good job i want them to be as even as possible so ideas on how to lay out my lines would be great i also want to have nice smooth cuts so suggestions on how to cut it would be very helpfull

Default plastic cutting suggestions

I would suggest marking out your cuts with masking tape first. Then use a dremmil to cut it. Finish it off with some sandpaper to smooth the edges, gradually working your way down to a fine grit.

i bet the sound of these 2-strokes wont bother you as much as it did them[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

i tried the dremel it takes to long to cut... use a skillsaw or something like that

i used a dremal,it works awesome..dont use no skillsaw,that will be a big mistake..

He must have meant a jig saw lol,
I would mark the lines with dry-erase marker.

I notched mine on the top and bottom with the dremil, then wedge a string in the notches. Then you can pull the string in or out, and tape it. Then trace with a marker

Mine was done with tape and a jigsaw,then sandpaper for the edges.

Default plastic cutting suggestions

I used a dremmel with a 2" cutoff wheel. It makes for a really straight line. Then i used a lighter to help smoth the sides.
