Eltric start

Default Eltric start

My friends have a Recon and a Raptor they where both riding and lost there keys (lol idiots) but they only had that one they dont want to buy a new igiton so they want me to ask if there is a way to turn the battery on so they can start it??????????

when my cousin lost his key i think he said he ordered one for it.?????????but i know he got another key.

Your not trying to hotwire a bike to steal are you?? LOL

With my 83 big red I had, if I unplugged the 4 wires going to the igntion, it would start and run. 2 wires were for ground (when key is off)and 2 were for the lights (when key was on). So by unplugging all 4, it would run, but no lights. So I figured hook up the 2 wires for the lights and it worked like a charm.

on the recon if i pull the wires it will pull start? bc i know you have to have the battery on for it to pull start and the raptor is only Eltric start so how could that work?

they are not useing there quads till next sunday and they dont feel like paying money all though they should be more responable

Bikes are easy to hot wire. We have had to do it a hundred times, when someone shows up for a ride with no keys. I have started just leaving my keys in the bikes all the time. They are chained up with Kryptonite chains and locks, so they aren't going anywhere anyhow.
