Jetting? Where to start? Raptor Yosh-ProFlow K&N/With Lid on
#1
Somebody give me a starting point. Here is what I have got:
2004 Raptor 660R
Yosh full stainless pipe
Proflow K&N
Dynojet Stage 2 jet kit
Baffles are removed from the lid, but I plan to run with the lid on.........., for now anyways.
DJ jets that I have go up to 150, but I also have a Mukuni 152.5 and a 155 jet.
I am at sea-level.
What jets should I start with and any other help would be appreciated. Thanks

I took your advice and everything seemed ok today. I went with 146/148 & 3 turns out on the mixture screw. It cranked right up and idled great. It pulled much stronger and felt great. I rode it a couple of hours today and was real happy. But it did do a couple of things that make me wonder if I should still adjust it some. It would pop a little when decelerating, also I put in a new plug and rode it for the first ten minutes and checked it - plug was a tan color on the electrode and tip. I pulled the plug again after riding it for a couple hours and the plug was tan on the electrode and tip but black around the base.
Any tips or recommendations would be appreciated.

hope you guys dont mind me jumping in here!
I too am having problems with my jetting. hope you guys can steer me in the right direction.
my raptor doesnt go past 1/2 throttle. i am running stock needles, can this be the problem? i cant get a jetting run done becouse of the fact that i cant go wide open throttle in 4th. my bike just bogs out. this is what happened when i tried. i replaced the plug and took the bike out for a run. i chopped the plug and tried to get a reading. it was light brown around the electrode. and slight white on the electrode. by the way, my pilot screws are out 3 turn each and i am at sea level.
do i need to buy a dynojet jeting kit?
does anyone have the same set up?
what jets are you running?
HELP!!!!
THANKS GUYS

I and most other sources I have talked to found the dynojet kit is not putting big enougn jets in there kits. I run a DMC alien full race exhaust
I use 160(R), 155(L) ,27.5 pilot jets.
The best way to get correct jetting is thru the pipe manufacturer. They have spent alot of time and money developing the pipes and most have a website.
Another thing alot of pipe companies don't tell you is check your float settings. If you are pushing more fuel thru the carbs and don't adjust you floats you can run out of fuel in your bowls. I have mine set at 5mm.
