AC Articulation Comparison Pics, Check Them Out Here !!
#1
I have been thinking about AC for it's articulation. My Outlander has lousy articulation as you've seen me write in a post last week. Click on the link below and select the folder called "Articulation Pics". Look at all 3 pictures.
The Arctic Cat is awesome!!
The Outlander articulation is aweful. The right rear suspension of the Outlander does not compress at all. Also, when I stand next to the right rear suspension and put all my weight on the right rear of the rack, there is only about 1 inch of compression because of the internal sway bar.
When I sit on the quad the other rear tire goes to the ground of course and the right front tire is 8 inches off the ground. I would rather have all 4 wheels on the ground. The settings on my shocks are at the softest setting.

The AC pics can also be seen here http://www.mindspring.com/~chrisandlisa/AC500i/
Is there a way I can post the pics in this post instead of using a link?
No, I don't own an AC yet.
Comments and other pics are welcome.

Andy,
The Arctic Cat pics are large files and will take some time to download. See if you can get them to work. I think you'll like them.
Thanks.

Massive difference, but anyone with a Prairie is going to comment on how much body roll it will have. Problem is, you can't get that articulation without some body roll. Its a total tradeoff. You get one or the other. I'd rather live with the body roll and have the articulation personally. But I'm not racing people either.
