I got platters of paint from somewhere on my truck, any good techniques to get it off? Looks like mostly mist but some good sized pieces are on there too. The paint is white, and the car is green.

Go to a good parts house that sells painting supplys and ask them . probly a very light rubbing coumpound should work make sure it's safe for clear coat and try a spot good luck . if your real cheap try WD-40 it just might work

What would you consider to be a good parts house? Like a body shop type thing, or a Napa auto parts type thing? I was thinking rubbing compound myself... Whats terpinetine?

clay bars work well, i picked mine up at either autozone. i had white overspray all over my truck from a local water tower being painted, the clay bar took it right off (with a little elbow grease).
