Thats an awfully wide range of atvs. A wolverine is a 350cc 4x4, kind of a warrior with 4wd. It gives you a litte of the sport, and a little utility.

It really depends on what kind of riding. If you are going to be doing chores or towing/hauling things then the pure sport atvs like the yfz are not for you. If you are just going to be playing around and dont have any mud or nasty terrain then a 2wd sport might do the trick.

Sounds like you'd be happy with a utility then. The model you get is limited by just a few things. First and foremost is money, your budget will determine your options. Second you may want to consider IRS vs SRA. IRS is better for mud and gives a softer ride, but it is tippier and has more things to go wrong. The Kodiak and grizzly come with IRS, while all of the other yamaha utilities come with a solid rear axle.

A kodiak would be a good buy, and a grizzly would be just about unstoppable with a good set of tires. I would go to the dealer and check some out. Get a feel for the sizes and see if the dealer will let you ride them around the dealership.
