Default a question for anybody

Ok, lets just say you had the chance to pick up a brand new four wheeler for free and you had a limited choice between what what you could get. Brute force, honda rincon, prairie 700, vinson, outlander, and artic cat 650 what would you choose and why. Thanks

id ggo for the vinson. they are reliable machines. also they are reliable and quick for a lower cc utility. there are tons of aftermarket parts available and upgrades are basically unlimited.

I really depends on what you want use it for. I got the Brute Force because my priorities were ride comfort and power. If clearance is your biggest need, get the AC. If the best IRS is your deal, get the Honda. Power and stability...Prairie. Do the research, take the rides. You can't really go wrong with any of the bikes you listed.

I might choose the BF first, but maybe the P700 depending on the terrain (rough and/or mud).

I might choose the P700 for most stability and handling at higher speeds, but also decent power.

I would never choose the rincon. Belt drives may be higher mainenance, but rincon trannys are having very serious problems compared to the simple belt problems that you can fix yourself with minimal tools on other quads. Also the rincon is kinda slow and has no engine braking, no decent front brakes, no diff lock. It doesn't deserve to be compared with these other quads. I might choose a rincon over a grizzly.

I would choose the artic cat as a good machine overall. They are good machines. They had an electrical issue which has been worked out, so if you get one and it looses power there is a fix from AC to make it run right.

I wouldn't choose the outlander.

I would not ever choose a vinson over a P700 unless you were afraid the P700 was too fast for the kids.

The Vinson is great and very quick, but underpowered in this field
The outlander is a good machine, but its awd doesnt meet my approval.
The Rincon is a trail machine, plain and simple. Suspension is very very soft. Not enough power for 650cc's.
The ac has limp mode issues and weighs a good hundred pounds more than the others (save for the bomb).

That leaves the BF and the P700. The IRS and extra 50ccs really intrigues me, but its too tall and tippy for its own good. If it had a lower stance and I knew it didnt have any first year issues, I go with that without hesitation. But the prairie is proven and very powerful. The only disadvantage would be the lack of ground clearance and a stiffer ride. While the first is undesireable, the ride quality is preference.

I have been down the tall and tippy route with the grizz. Its a great machine, just too unstable.
I am really curious abou the new Zuki King quad. I couldnt really make my decision until I saw that in action.

its UGLY, theres no beef to it. the entire thing is made of plastic bumpers and everything. theres a big hole between the seat and gas tank-for a bag but still ugly. i wouldnt be surprized if it had plastic parts in the engine.lol

Thank you for your thumbs up but there is still an electrical issue that hasn't been worked out and there is no fix to make it run right. They have given us a jumper to re-set it,just a band-aid,not a fix.
