I am selling my two cr 250's on ebay right now and I plan on buying this 450R right when i get the money. What should I expect ???

 

Expect to get smoked by yzf's, raptor's,blah, blah, blah....

 

I don't really know much about those yamaha's but I would never buy one. Strictily honda. Is that all you have to say, cuz i wanna know bout the HONDA 04 TRX 450R

 

You will love it.. IF u can kick start a bike and not bitch you'll love it.. NO battery problems, it is comfortable, very fast, VERY torqey and a great all around bike.. i want one too!! VERY BAD

 

Haha...I think kickin it is the best part haha...no but yeah i had a trx 250r before and im not sure if im gnana like it more or less then that

There isn't nothin like a 250r, but the closest thing is a TRX450r!!!

 

I have ridden 2 250r's. They both were cool but felt 22 years old. Oh yeah they were. The 450r is way better then those aging quads.

Don't start dissin' me now. I know the 250 start the quad racing but things change.

 

Tractorpacker has a very good point. Although the 250R is an awesome machine, everything is outdated on them stock. A stock 450R vs. a stock 250R: the 450R would blow the fenders off of it in just about everything except a straight-line drag. The suspension, chassis and just about everything else in the 450R besides possibly the powerplant is top of the line and much improved over everything on the 250R..........STOCK.

 

Here is my take. We purchased an 04 450r new for my son who has been riding a 416 ex. He loves it. We went riding to break it in stock, it rides and runs great. Just put on a full yoshi trs carbon fiber with K&N Pro design intake, modded lid and 185 main jet. Kick start is easy I sit on it and kick starts on first kick. That woke it up, the quad is awesome. I ride a raptor with 686 that I'm very happy with, but I think the 450r addition to our family is going to be a great quad. You won't be disapointed. My other son wants one now and he has been riding a stock raptor. JMO
