Default Boyesen Power Reeds

hey. i got the $$ and i was about to buy the reeds but some one said they dont just bolt up? Dont you just take the old reeds out and put the boysens in the place? no other mods are neccessary right? This is a 86' Model. Thanks for all info.

~ Bump ~ Please i need to know or ill get the FMF Tourqe Reeds. The boyesen reeds fit in the stock reed cage right?

they just bolt right in but if you have the money and since you have the rad valve out why not replace it with a boyesen rad valve
I did that to my KX250 and what a difference it makes. but you might have to rejet. good luck let us know what you do and how it runs
your bike looks nice

Mossbarger is the only company I know of that makes an aftermarket reed cage for the 85-86. I've been told that this increases throttle response and top end considerably more than aftermarket reeds in the stock cage.

Cause i was 10seconds away from buying em. and i bought em, and i had to get boyesens aftermarket reed cage. . .. 160$. .. . f**king A!

I think Boyesen only makes cages for the 88-92 LT's.
