Well it's nice to be back on here. I been gone a while because I been trying to sell my DS650 and I sorta lost interest.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img] Well I got sick of not being able to sell the DS all summer and I decided to trade it in on a dirtbike today, that was my intention anyway. To make a long story short I loaded up my DS and went to Wausau Motorsports, a large atv/motorcycle shop about 40 miles away from my house. I started looking for used 250 dirtbikes and they only had one there that look like it was run hard. So my Dad and I got talking and he said why don't you just get something that's brand new. They had a few brand new 250 bikes so I asked for the list price of the bikes and I was told $5899 for a new 250 bike. As I'm sitting at the sales rep's desk I look at a new Honda 450R sitting right next to me. So I asked what they were asking for it and they said $6400... I thought man, it's only $500 more than what the dirtbike I intended on getting was gonna cost. Just then my Dad said it would be stupid for you to get a new bike when you could have that quad that you can ride all year (remember it snows here lol) for $500 more.......

They looked at my DS and surprisingly offered me a fair price and we got the ball rollin. Now because it's the weekend I gotta wait for the bank loan to be approved and papers to be faxed to wausau motorsports on Monday. So I should be the owner of a new Honda 450R on Monday. Hopefully all goes well and I'll be on here all the time again... Great huh? lmao.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/img] later.

why u getting rid of the ds?

 

He had more trouble with his DS650 than anout twenty other people combined have ever had with any DS650. I figure if it is him having bad luck (like his signature) then that wont change with the new machine, though for his sake I hope it is trouble free. If his new Honda runs as well as either of my DSs have ran, then he will be a happy camper and he will have to change his signature.

 

Keep that 450 stock so you don't have any issues.
