Paint on motor

HELLO,HOW DO U GET THE LETTERING ON THE DS MOTOR TO BE A CERTAIN COLOR, IS IT PAINT OR STICKERS? IF IT IS PAINT WHAT TYPE OF PAINT DO YOU GUYS USE AND HOW DO U GET IT TO STAY SO NEAT? THANX
ALSO WHEN I FIRST GOT MY DS I CHANGED THE OIL AND THERE WAS A LITTLE BIT OF SHAVINGS IN THYE THE OIL PLUG AT THE BOTTOM OF THE QUAD. MY DS IS A 2000 SO THE SHOP WHO HAD IT BEFORE ME HAD TO HAVE CHANGE THE OIL. DO U THINK THIS IS NORMAL FOR THE SHAVINGS TO BE THERE? BECAUSE I WAS LOOKING ON THE YAMAHA SECTION AND PEOPLE SAID IT WAS NORMAL FOR WARRIORS... THANX

were the shavings gold color? If they were silver color i would say you are ok, but if they are gold color then thats your main bearing.
Change it after a few rides and if there is alot of shavings again, then i would look into it.

check out my pics, I used some orange enamle paint from the tru- value hardware and a very steady hand. I put the quad on her side and sanded some of the spots that I could get to gently. It has lasted for a while now I need to touch it up once in a while but over all holds up very well.
