Help! Need registration and insurance in NJ
#1
i mostly ride in NY, but live in NJ. I can't seem to find any companies that would insure ATV's in NJ. And in jersey, you cannot register your vehicle without having insurance or maybe it's the other way around. Either way, i can't find insurance! arggg!!!
Any suggestions?

ksw agency in new brunswick. they are an agent of Aegis insurance. I insure 3 cannondales, a blaster and my klx650(street) for less than 500 a year. registration is easy, 28 yearly...but it is sept to sept only. if you register in august, you need to renew in sept

that's awesome, thanks nickg, i'll give them a call tomorrow.
NSA, if you do get a chance to get that info, that'll be great too!
I'm psyched, it's a great piece of mind to ride with registration and insurance.

Papa:
New Jersey Manufaturers is the company that my buddy used to use. However, he said it's only available to people who are in certian unions and are small buisness owners. He also said they are not cheap.

thanks, my company offers NJM but due to my one speeding ticket, I'm forced to use NJ Re-insurance which is a subsidiary of NJM...i'll give them a call, hopefully i can get a discount for being an existing customer.
thanks again for all the input.

well i will help you out here, most motorcycle insurance(and all insurance after 2006) is based on several factors, your driving record as expected, but also your credit rating...it is call prl(personal responsibility level)
so if you have a perfect driving record and bad credit you get really high rates(thanks to our great govener) currently most (actually all except ageis) motorcycle insurance is rated using PRL. I shopped around big time and ksw was by far the cheapest. I have first trenton for home and auto, to add just 1 atv was $1000 yearly. most dealers sell Rider insurance...but beware that is not cheap either. I spent a long time researching motorcycle and atv insurance...Ksw was the cheapest by far
