V force cams in prairie 650???

well Im on a quest to make my P650 faster than any other quad around here (thank god there are no yfz's) and ive heard of people putting V cams in there prairies. Can some one give me some info on this? price? how hard is it to do? what in all is invalved? will i need to replace my gaskets? ext.... thanx tommy boy

As fast as yours already is I would be afraid of messing something up putting different cams in. I will be putting cams in mine soon though. I believe the V-Force cams can be bought for $101 each from ronayers.

retard the cam timing 10* will give you the same effect.
this can be done in a afternoon without alot of skills.

What kawituner said is right, other than the part about "not alot of skills", I had someone do mine for me. If you're putting out the money to buy V cams, you should buy aftermarket (Web, FST, PBR), the factory V cams are the same as the Prairie, other than the timing.

I agree with that. If you are going to install new cams at least get the webcams. If you can afford it go with Mickey Ds "FST" cams but he says you will need the 11:1 compression ratio piston and stronger valve springs with his.
If you want the V-force cams you might as well save your money and do like kawituner said.
