id pick the 300ex its basicly bullet proof and its alot bigger than the blaster i think the blaster has a lil more top speed and its a 2stroke the 300ex is a awesome trail bike it has enough power to get you out a deep mud whole and can wheelie with the press of the gas+ its a 282cc VS. 195cc i think

We have owned both, so you won't get any BS here! If you do mostly "play" riding, there is nothing more fun than the Blaster! But, if you are going to go on long cross-country rides, you want to be on the 300EX. Both are very agile trail machines, but the 2-stroke Blaster has a bit of a pipey powerband, so you may have to work it a little (where the 4-stroke will lug down and pull).
I would say that the 300EX will hold up better in the long run. I think of Blasters as being kind of "disposable". You buy one, ride it a couple years, then get rid of it. Not a long term investment!

i agree its tough telling the blaster is loads of fun and its fast, the 300ex will probably hold more weight and like u guys said it better for long-term riding and doesn't the 300 have reverse?? that could come in handy!!

yeah i liked the 300ex better and we still own a blaster. but hey if the blasters motor tears up a few bolts and its toar down.

I have ridden both alot and the 300 is faster when they are both stock. My friend had a highly modded blaster and he couldnt keep up with my 300. Maybe he just couldnt ride but the 300 is faster

i think there the same on speed for stock machines, but the honda will go all day , plus use very little gas the blaster on the other hand seems to have a hole in the tank, they always need fuel.
