I was looking at my Prairie last night,and it looks as if the camo is fading in places. Heck, I've only had it out 4 or 5 times in the back of the truck or on the trailer in the sun, 19 hours and 100 miles on the quad. Has anyone else notice their's fading?

 

what did you wash it with?

That's your problem! LOL I take it it's an 04 700 Prairie, I heard some being shaven from stuff rubbing against it.

 

i asked around and have not heard of any problems???? if you use a hard cleaner it will fade.

 

I've seen a couple camo's that are peeling quite rapidly. Owners of these units were pretty much told to pound sand by Kawasaki. Sorry man, its happened before.

 

Yamaha has the same problem. I think it's just inherent in the camo sticking to the plastic. Local Yamaha dealer told me to beware of it in about 1 year of use. And it's not covered[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img] So, I'll just get the green.. Why pay extra to watch it come off[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]
