jetting for a power tip?

Default jetting for a power tip?

have 2001 put a power tip on it and no lid at about 1700ft. stk carb, what jetting

come on guys, im trying to help out a freind. so he dont sell it becouse its terd.

if its a stock carb, start out at about a 180 to 185.....richen your needle all the way, and put yor lid back on your air box....( do a search for older post with misterH.P and he gives his secret to success with stock carbs and end caps)

170-175 is where I run. 180-185 is too rich. I'm talking Mikuni jets, not Dynojet.

i would say 170 to 175 as well. Needle all the way rich.

I am on a 180 (mikinu) main second richest position but i ride at sea level and its not that warm here
