Just took out the new YFZ450 and all I can say is MAUI WOWIE!!!

This thing is AWESOME. I've been riding a Raptor 660 for awhile and that was fun and all, but this YFZ is soo much easier to ride. Not only that, but you would think it had wings on it or something because every time I took it up a hill it would literally jump into the air no matter how steep the hill was. Truly easy to handle, but the power range is differnent. I do miss the low end power on the Raptor, but the mid range on YFZ is much faster. As far as shock stiffness, I didn't think it was bad at all. The suspension was definately easier to handle especially on the rebound. My ONLY complaint was that the thumb throttle nearly killed my thumb [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]

I DEFINATELY need to find away to loosen the tension on it, if anybody knows how, please let me know!
Other wise, I'm totally sold.

 

They supposedly retuned the suspension for '05.

 

You will get use to the thumb throttle.
