Smart mods for 04 Bruin
#1
Hey everyone this is my first post here at ATV connection. I just bought an 04 Bruin 4x4 last week and love riding it. Over the course of the fall I plan on modding it to make it a better overall runner and trail rider. The stock Maxxis tires that came with it are ok for now, but I've already got it stuck in a sloppy creek which was all mud basically. I want a more aggressive tire for sure, maybe some armor. My friend runs 27" 589's on his 400 Kodiak and he recommended something different, maybe a set of 26" Vampires? I've been around ATV's for a year or so, but this is my first one. If anyone could make some recommendations on somethings that would be smart for me to purchase, I'd really appreciate any help I could get. Thanks in advance.

I would run 25" bearclaws or mud lites. I would go anything bigger. The Bruin doesn't have low range so it probaley won't turn them in deep mud. My wolverine have 25 dirt devils on it and they make the engine work in low gear.

Alright, thanks for the input, I appreciate it.
I was looking at the ITP Mud Lites, they seem pretty lightweight, so could I get away with running a 26" tire w/o losing a lot of power? Most of what I run are hardpacked trails, mud, sloppy mud, and very few rocks.
