i was wondering why everyone says there soo bad i live in ny and i guess the northern coasat got a good batch because i havent seen any with problem in the pits by my house there almsot everyday for aobut 2 hours. mine has had no problems along with two of my friends. i have a bad carb once which was my fault for than the bikes. IS it me or do ppl make them out to worse than they really are.

 

Every quad has its issues it can come down to just having a bad batch or good batch like you said i think i got a lemon.

ive never had any problems with my '01. alot of people make them out to be worse than they really are.

 

yeah, a lot of people would rather complain, than do a little maintenance. and it's not like every other quad is perfect. I just hate how cheaply they build the quads now-a-days. I hit a couple of 60ft jumps and actually use the quad hard and the frame starts to crack and my a-arms end up cracking. I have a couple of suzuki 185's and they have hit many trees (and even a chimney) and have been rolled more times than I can count, but they are still running strong today.

the only thing i`ve done to mine is put a new one way bearing, but it went out under severe abuse, my friends sprock decide it wanted to um, come off, so i tried to tow him back to the truck, all was well untill i got to the big hill of the trail, at one point in time we had my raptor and a 250 tryinn to pull the d$#% thing up the well i ended up going to said friends farm and getting his dads grizzly 660, ans i put new axle bearings in to but they didn`t have to be replaced

 

Yeah...I don't know how bad people are treating their Raptors, but I've been racing mine for the last two years in the desert, and the only thing I ever needed to replace are skid plates and, of course, the vital fluids. I have complete trust that my Rappy will complete the races, its ME that might break!!!![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

what exactly has gone wrong on ppls raptors? all i hear is complaining but the dont say what went

 

the problem is, you only hear about it when someone has a problem..its not like people make posts.. Hey everyone, my quad is running good...thats all! bye..
another problem is noobs they get on here and if they read someone say that raptors suck and break alot then they copy and paste it and put it in a different thread so now everyone is like.. "but look how many people think they have problems" see waht i mean?
