Default Brute Force Grease Zerks!

Has anyone put grease into the grease zerks on the rear driveshaft on their Brute Force yet? I did my 10 hour service last night and thought I would hit them with a shot of grease and no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't get the grease gun fitting on the zerk. I think that it needs a smaller fitting on the end of the grease gun. The owners manual says that it only needs to be done every 100 hours and needs to be done by the dealer. What is up with that? Take it to the dealer for a grease zerk????

Go down to your local NAPA and see if they have a grease fitting assortment package, or better the fitting you are looking for. I forget the exact size but I bought an assortment package a few years ago and the fitting I needed was in there.. its small.

This is a rough way to do it, but it works....use your socket set and do trial and error on a long extension to see which socket works best for getting in there, once you have that socket size you can take the socket with you and 'eyeball' which fitting you will need for your application.
