I have a raptor that is using a o4 DS snorkel set up with a 48HV Lectron carb. I am trying to replace with a K&N filter but was wondering what you guys are using for this set up, i have a no toil now but was wondering if the K&N filter goes over the snorkel or fits inside the snorkel with a clamp on the outside?
The filter can be no longer then 5 1/2 inches long and the Ds snorkel openning diameter i believe is about 5". the whole filter diameter doesent really matter since i have plenty of width and can adjust the height..
thanks in advance...

do you guys any of the other demensions on this filter, or know where the cheapest place is to get...
and i am assuming the flange is solid and not rubber if it goes into the snorkel and then is clamped from the outer layer of the snorkel to secure the filter in the snorkel..or does it hold fine if it is a soft rubber flange...

It is about 7 inches total and that includes the flange. It is about 5 inches wide at the widest part. The flange is solid on the K&N where it is clamped on. It wont let me tell you where the best place to buy from. Which is BULL. So I dont know where to tell you the best place is. This forum gets worse by the day.......... can't even help other people out by saving them some money and headache by buying from a good company.
