I need some help.

I have an 01 DS650 which I have just purchased a Ron Woods CDI for. In the box with the CDI is a paper with a note on it reading, "Baja and late model DS650 quads use a diffrent connection at the amplifier box. Bla,bla,bla....."

My question is this, my DS is neither a Baja nor a late model (i.e. 03,04) this means I don't have to do anything except plug it in, right????

Please correct me if I'm wrong, I'd really hate to mess up my ride.

If it plugs in, Plug it in. The Baja has a different plug so it needs to be wired up different.

 

Yup...just plug it in.... After you do, post how it runs...I have one coming for my '00, and I'm curious as to how you like it!!!

 

it just plugs in, and you will really like compared to stock.

 

Finally got all the connections made.... If it fires right up afterward I assume that is a good thing????????

(as you can probably tell I'm not to much into my own wrenching)
