Napa hose mod dangers
#1
Yeah, I knew that would get your attention!
I watched a bud ROLL his yamahammer down a hill into a pond. Made me wonder the wisdom of my Napa hose mod on the 650 prairie...just how prone to sucking water and jamming the works is that? Seems the air box has stacks to keep any water that does get in there out, but whats YOUR take??
thanks, CWG

I left the baffle in my '02 filter box, but put some holes in it ( still have 1/2 of baffle )... & I like the new mod, of using the lower portion of the stock snorkle ( with the drain ), & cutting off the restricted end part, & replacing that with the hose...

Solution....dont roll it into a pond..or as fithhorsemen did..candy *** around trying to cross a beaver channel and drown it out...lmao..@ 5th standing in 4 feet of ice cold rain run off holding down the *** end of his bike trying to keep the water out of the intakes...wish i had a camera for that one...
