Does it pull okay into the mid range and stumble on full throttle? If it does then it may be rich on the main. I jetted mine richer until I got a full throttle stumble and then when back one jet. Mine was flat on the top end because it was lean. I am running a 175 dynojet. I was a little sluggish after installing my pipe, but it was because I was restricted on the intake. When I installed 12 uni filter vents in my lid it helped, but I was running the required 155dj. I am now running a 175 dj and may end up at a 180.

The clutch kit will probably raise the engagement rpm a little. I have an EPI and I really like it. It engages very smoothly, but at a higher rpm so it has more low end grunt. My griz will lift the front end off the ground without any effort in high gear. All I do is sit on the back of the seat. It will only do it from a dead stop. I haven't gotten it to do it on a roll. It is up to you to control how much gas, so I don't think that it will be a problem to have that much horse power on a steep up hill.

where did you get your epi clutch kit from and did you put it in yourself or have someone do it for you. If you put it in was it hard to do. Thanks for all the help.

I ordered it from EPI direct. I wimped out and had someone else do it because there are some powerful springs in their and I didn't want to mess with it.

When you put your pipe on did you take off the factory heat shield stuff on your factory pipe and put it around your new one.

No I left it off. My storage box got a little hot so I put metal tape on it to reflect the heat. I haven't had any problems since. I also used a stack of washers to put between the pipe attachment point and the frame to make a little more space. It looks pretty good.
