I am just wondering what you all think the best jet kits are for a 2004 Predator?

 

DynoJet. About 55 bucks.

 

why buy a jet kit it is just a waste of money just buy the jets that you need.

It's not hard to figure out it's going to take some testing which ever route you take. plus some bike shops will trade you jets if you need a different size.

 

Its not just the jets, the taper of the needle is diffrent than stock. The jets are also bigger that the standerd mikuni jet. dyno jet makes these for K&N and many others brand jet kits .

 

What jets are in the Dynojet kits? Im not sure what size I need. My quad has been cutting out since I modded my airbox with 8 airbox vents. I am planning on getting an exhaust also so I will need to rejet it after that too.

 

Lol Yeah you need to rejet, and best for that would be To just get the whole jet kit, Because your going to be messing around with your mods probably.

 

With a single carb, I believe you get 5 main jets, 1 needle, an adjusting washer and e-clip. With dual carbs, you get 10 jets, 2 needles, 2 washers and clips. The size of jets will vary depending on which stage of kit you want. My buddy put an HMF system on(very loud), a K&N, and a 157 jet. This made a drastic improvement.

 

Yea im planning on doing some more mods to it and want to have the jets on hand. Im going to do my exhaust for starters and im not really sure where to go after that, any sugestions? Will the kit give me plenty of room to play around?
