Default Raptor arms, axels, and shocks.

I am looking to buy +2 A-Arms for my raptor, I have seen some called "Strong Arms" I think at hsdracing.com I'm not going for huge strength, just something better over stock. Does anyone have any suggestions?

..also I am pretty set on Durablues 2+2 axel for my raptor, because it is $700 canadian (which is the cheapest price I have found on an axel period). For shocks I was thinking of Elka or Works, they're cheaper then others, but I am up for suggestions

thanks a lot.

Never heard of the "strong arms"

Ditch the durablue eliminator. Get a lonestar if you are looking for a cheap aftermarket axle. They are stronger and about the same amount of dough.

Works and elka are very different in performance and price. dual rate works start at around 350, elkas come in at 550. Really depends on your riding. If you are a trail/woods rider the works would probably be fine. If you are looking for air and mx, the eklas are a much better choice. On a budget a set of triple rate works w/o rez would probably be the best compromise between price and performance.

Okay, Does anyone know a good canadian shop for lonestar stuff?

...also Thanks for telling me that Works and Elka are different performers..
I ride a lot of trails, but also a lot of jumping.. So I am sort of torn between them then. ...I'll look into Triple Works then like you said?

I think that would probably be the best for your application. If you are a very aggressive rider you might look at the rezzies, but at that point you are starting to spend the same kind of money you would on a set of entry level elka shocks, so it makes the decision more difficult. If you like to jump I would just make sure that you stay with a triple rate shock.

yea, in retrospect, it did cost too much. but to pound across a field and watch that suspension work is priceless. handlebars barely move.
