the manufacture probably means 10 hp by doing everything. that sems like a big number but when ever you buy a pipe, the instuctions say that you have to rejet the carbs when you install this product because if you install a pipe without rejetting it the motor will run to lean, you won't have maximum power and will eventaully burn up the motor.

It's hard for me to say, every machine will react differently to it but with all that extra hp, you might just accelerate like a bat out of hell until you hit the dredded rev limiter

10hp from a pipe? Not likely!! Pipe, intake mods, ignition work, cam work - maybe. How much higher would the top speed be if you could actually get 10 more hp? Not much; there's much more to getting a higher top speed than just adding horsepower. BTW - what kind of Prairie are you talking about?

I would really look sideways at whoever told you 10 hp from a pipe. One hp would be more like it imo.

I agree with kawiyowee...maybe they meant 10 percent more power..that might be a bit more realistic...

10% sounds right. A pipe is definetely worth it, either way!

wow 10 hp off a pipe thats almost as good as my stickers that added 15 hp....lol...(available now pm for details...)but i agree with ^ 10 percent is more likely...and when you are adding power its going to aid in acceleration more than anything....
