today i was riding my three-wheeler around my yard, and i rode up my ditch and turn around at the top and when i hit the bottom of the ditch the front wheel was turned and when it the dust seal poped off, and on the inside were the bearing was it wasn't. I took a closer look at and it was still in there but, tisted upin little pieces of metal and the bearings them selves were falling out of. when i saw that i started cusing and raising hell. I was so pissed. so i pushed it back into my garge and took the wheel off, and when i looked at the bearing was completly eat up, i mean there was nothing left of it except a few little pieces of twisted up metal. But the good thing is it didn't fo anything to the axle or the housing. every thing looked normal except for it. it was rusted and everything.and now i have to try and get it off. nad it is the original bearings. nad it had been sitting for 15 years, and it has only been rode for about a year now. nad i was going ridin tomorrow. now i have to buy new bearings and put it together and go labor day. which i guess is a good thing.
thanks for listening to my problems if you have any info you can give me please tell me.

Well, first of all, be thankful that you found the problem now instead of later and not under more harsh conditions if you know what I mean.
Secondly, be thankful that those bearings and seals are dirt cheap to replace and can be purchased from nearly every auto parts house in the country.
You shouldn't have a hard time at all buying both bearings and both seals for under $20.00

yea, i know. but after i tore it all down i called the honda shop down the road and they said that it would be $40.00 for both bearings and both seals. But i found a place online that i can get all of it for $12.00, but the shipping is like $6.00. but i thought that wasn't bad.

Man you got lucky it didn't tear up your housing like it did mine. The same thing happened to my 350x, except it was in the rear end. The bearing on the left hand side was nowhere to be found when i tore it all down, all except for the outer piece of metal (which was bent beyond recognition) lol. You guys should see the housing, what a mess! Well i wasn't really too worried about this housing because it was junk anyways because the chain tightener on it was busted in half and it was a b!tch to try and get the spanner wrench on it. I got really lucky and found a stock bearing carrier in really great shape so now i'm waiting for a few misc. parts to put in the rear end so i'll be ready to go for labor day .

I ordered my parts monday night and got them yesterday and put every thing but the back brake pads on. NAd i only paid $30 for everything 2 bearings, 2 seals, 1 set of pads and that includes shipping. I thought i came out pretty good.
