Well, i picked up some octane booster, thought i would try it, n i also wanted to advance my timing acouple degrees to get some more punch...im just trying things out....

Now, to advance the timing, do u turn the base plate clockwise, or counterclockwise....

If i have it idoling, then turn it clockwise, it starts to idol higher, if i go counter. then it will idol so slow, eventually shut off....i couldnt hear and pinging or knocking sounds either way..so i dont know which one was advancing it...

Someone plz help

higher idol is advanced but adjustmint is touchy a very little at a time to much either way will foul the plug i would advance one sixthteenth of a turn for snapper take off if you advance to far it will get too hot
