hey i just installed the sunpro tach on my quad thanks to some help from 01ds650 and other previous topics on the forums i got it all hooked up and its running fine.

the only thing is once i started the rpms go to about 1000 and then go down to like the normal idle of about 800-900. i didnt get much of a chance to try this out but thats what it said. another my engagement seemed to be about around 2000 ? ( i was in a hurry because i had to go to work on some other stuff)....anyway im gonna try it out some more tomorrow after school and see what it's like. also how did you all mount yours?

i think if i just lay mine on its back and drill a hole in the mount and into the metal piece in the middle of my bars it should work just fine.

 

what does your guy's sports idle at?

 

that idle sounds about right. i no the manual says sumtin like 600-800 for stock machine
