which is better honda or arctic cat

 

depends, are you using your quad for strictly work or sport? What size are you interested in? What are you looking to do with your quad? Remember, 90% the time on here, in the AC forum they will say AC is the best. In the Honda forum, they will say Honda is the best. All ATV's have pro's and con's. I have a Rincon and an AC 650. I would not give up my AC for anything. Large rack capacity, towing and fuel capacity for longer ring distance. On My farm the AC is ideal. I love it for work with the low range. Though my honda gives a little smoother ride. But this is my third honda, i had a 450 and a 350 before. Both proved themselves to me at work and play. While the rincon has not shown me much at all with its 3-speed auto tranny(with no low range), below average ground clearance and suspension travel. Like I said before, it is all in preference, what do you do more work or play?

 

ok what can i say about honda other then they are legendary for there quality like west said it is all about preference my dad has a honda foreman and it lacks in certain area's where my arctic cat acell's arctic has finally really stepped up to the plate cause every year they get better and better which is impressive how they are making leaps and bounds and in just a matter of a few years we have you come on here and ask which is better so that shows they have really come a long way

 

honda has a reputation for quailty, but look good at other brands they are close if not better.

 

My Honda is screwed together much better than my Cat, but my Cat will go down much more difficult trails. Mind you the Honda isn't nearly as perfect as most Honda fans seem to think.

 

 

Just like my Cat...five speed transmission and high and low in both ranges. In my opinion, the Cat with its far superior ground clearance is a vastly more capable machine in the tuff stuff. My definition of the tuff stuff is extreme trails like the Rubicon Trail. My Cat has done it twice and I could have used more than my 13" of ground clearance.

 

Honda low range probably works in reverse......
